The Marilena Ferrari-FMR Group was created in Bologna in 1992, with the Art'è company, by Marilena Ferrari, Fabio Lazzari and Davide Bolognesi. Since its very inception, the main aim of Art'è was to bring the public into contact with an art of values, working in two different, yet convergent, directions:
Since 1999, together with its limited edition works of art the Group has produced and created limited edition artist's books. | In 2000 it launched the same business model on the Spanish market. In 2002 it purchased the FMR-Franco Maria Ricci publishing house with the aim of expanding its activity in the field of fine art and high quality publishing. In 2007 it created the Fondazione FMR-Marilena Ferrari, whose mission is to focus on activities devoted to the support and promotion of the arts, in order to bring the public at large and new generations into closer contact with Italy's great artistic and cultural heritage and high quality craftsmanship. Since 2008 the company operates under the name Marilena Ferrari-FMR. Its works have penetrated foreign markets and represent a synthesis of two of Italy's main qualities of excellence: the continuity and uniqueness of Italian creative genius and the art of its fine craftsmanship tradition. |
